CMPTION works when people turn up, do what they said, and are decent about it. That is most of it. The rest is detail.

Do what you said you would do

A mission is two people writing down what each of them will deliver. Missing a number is not a failure and nobody is marked down for it. Going quiet on somebody who is waiting on you is the actual problem, and it is the one thing your record really shows.

Say no properly

Declining a proposal is completely fine and always will be. A clear no on the day beats a maybe that never turns into anything. Nobody is told they were declined in a way designed to sting.

Be straight about what you bring

Claiming skills you do not have wastes somebody's month. There is no advantage to inflating yourself here, matching does not reward the longest list, and a collaborator who expected a mixing engineer is going to notice.

Credit people

If you made it together, say so. Where you put the work is up to you, but taking sole credit for a collaboration is the sort of thing that ends up in a dispute.

What gets an account removed

• Harassment, threats, or targeting somebody.
• Hate directed at people for who they are.
• Sexual content involving minors. Reported to the authorities, no exceptions.
• Spam, scams, and using proposals as advertising.
• Making accounts to get around a block or a ban.
• Gaming the record: fake collaborations, traded ratings, invented outcomes.

Disagreeing is allowed

Creative arguments are part of the work. Somebody pushing back on your idea is not harassment, and a collaboration that did not work out is not a scandal. Raise a dispute if the facts are genuinely contested; use the block button if you would simply rather not.
